A tapestry is a weaving of different colors that layers threads upon threads to create a finished piece. They are intricate with design and imagery, just as I am under God’s hand…I made up of thoughts, ideas, influences, ideologies, love, hurts, fears, joys, sorrows and happiness…each layer building upon the next.
I am not really an Anna; you know me by other names. You know me as a friend, family member, someone’s wife, acquaintance, follower of the Rabbi, seeker, and muser. Anna Baltimore was the pseudonym of my best friend and in her death, I pick up the mantle and continue to be as she was: authentic, speaking truth, living life with wild abandonment and with a heart that is constantly challenging and searching for God’s hand in all of this.
